Make your Legoland Windsor visit unforgettable with these family-friendly tips:

  • 🎒 Ride strategy for families: Start with The Dragon (kid-friendly rollercoaster) and Flight of the Sky Lion (new flying theatre) before 11am. For younger children (under 1m), head to DUPLO Valley, DUPLO Dino Coaster, and Fairy Tale Brook early.
  • πŸ“± Download the official app: Real-time queue times, interactive map, mobile food ordering, and ride height checker (essential for planning).
  • πŸ” Best dining spots: The Brick BBQ (all-you-can-eat), Pirate's Fish & Chips, or bring a packed lunch – there are plenty of picnic benches near the entrance and in Heartlake City.
  • πŸ™οΈ Miniland magic: Don't miss Miniland – over 40 million bricks used to recreate London, Amsterdam, and Star Wars scenes. Best visited during lunchtime when queues for rides are longest.
  • πŸ“ Height restrictions guide: Many rides have 0.9m or 1.0m minimum heights. There's a free Height Check Band at Guest Services – colour-coded to show which rides your child can go on.
  • πŸ‘Ÿ What to bring: Rain jackets (some queues are outdoors), comfortable walking shoes (the park is huge), refillable water bottles, suncream, and a change of clothes for younger kids (Laser Raiders and Pirate Falls can get wet).
  • 🏨 Stay overnight: Legoland Hotel (with themed rooms) or Legoland Castle Hotel offer early ride access (30 minutes before general public), character breakfasts, and exclusive evening entertainment.
  • πŸŽƒ Special events: Brick or Treat (Halloween) and Christmas at Legoland are fantastic but book months in advance. Fireworks weekends in November are spectacular.

🎁 Money-saving tip: Book the "2-Day Ticket" – for just Β£5-10 extra per person, you get a second day free (perfect for doing everything). Also check for Tesco Clubcard, Blue Light Card, or Merlin discount codes before booking.

β™Ώ Accessibility note: The park is largely flat and wheelchair accessible. Borrow a RADAR key from Guest Services for accessible toilets. Rider Swap available for families where one child can't go on a ride.
