Make the most of your family day out at Paultons Park with these insider tips:

  • 🐷 Peppa Pig World strategy: Visit Peppa Pig World first (opens with the park) – hit Daddy Pig's Roller Coaster and George's Dinosaur Adventure immediately. Alternatively, visit after 3pm when queues drop significantly.
  • 🎢 Other must-do rides: Cyclonator (disco spin ride), Cobra (family rollercoaster), and The Edge (drop tower for older kids). For younger children, don't miss Little Africa and the 4D cinema.
  • 📱 Download the official app: Real-time queue times, interactive map, character appearance schedule, and mobile food ordering (saves so much time!).
  • 🍔 Best dining spots: The Explorers Kitchen (buffet-style, great for families), Peppa Pig's Diner (themed food), or bring a picnic – there are plenty of picnic areas throughout the park, including a dedicated area near the entrance.
  • 🐽 Character meet & greets: Peppa and George appear multiple times daily in Peppa Pig World. Check the app for exact times – queues form early, so arrive 15 minutes before.
  • 👟 What to bring: Rain jackets (some rides continue in light rain), comfortable walking shoes (the park is beautifully landscaped but large), refillable water bottles (free refill stations), suncream, and spare clothes for younger kids (water play areas open in summer).
  • 🌿 Gardens and animals: Don't rush past the gardens – Paultons has beautiful grounds and a small animal area with meerkats, otters, and parrots. A lovely break between rides.
  • 🎃 Special events: Halloween Spooktacular (October half-term) and Christmas at Paultons (November-December) are magical – book tickets months in advance as they sell out.

🎁 Money-saving tip: Book the "2-Day Ticket" – often only £5-8 extra per person, giving you a second day free (essential if you have young Peppa fans who want to do everything twice!). Also check for Tesco Clubcard, Blue Light Card, or NHS discounts before booking.

Accessibility: Paultons Park is one of the UK's most accessible theme parks – flat pathways, wheelchair hire available, and a fantastic Changing Places facility. Rider Swap available for families. Carers go free with valid documentation.

👶 Best for ages: Peppa Pig World is perfect for 2-6 year olds. Tornado Springs and Critter Creek are great for 5-12 year olds. Older kids (8+) will love Cyclonator, The Edge, and Cobra.
